Electronics & Computer Recycling in Boise, Idaho
Electronics recycling for Boise businesses
PC Recyclers of Idaho is based in Meridian, just a few minutes from Boise, and has been recycling electronics since 2004. We are R2v3 and RIOS certified, and we serve Boise businesses, schools and nonprofits with computer and electronics recycling, IT asset disposal and secure data destruction.
Our first goal is reuse. Working equipment is refurbished and either donated to schools, churches, families in need and charitable organizations, or sold through wholesale channels. Anything that is not reusable is recycled through certified downstream service providers so it stays out of the landfill.
What we recycle
We take computers and laptops, servers, network equipment, monitors, phones and tablets, loose hard drives, printers under 50 lbs, point of sale equipment, cables and more. A few things we cannot accept, including televisions of any kind and CRT monitors. The items we accept page has the full list.
Free business pickup in Boise
Our team comes to you, loads the equipment onto our own trucks and takes it back to our Meridian facility. You do not need to palletize anything, move it to a dock or rent a truck, and we can visit multiple locations in one trip.
To qualify for a free pickup, we require a minimum of 10 items in any combination of PCs, laptops, servers and network switches. Once we are on site we can take the rest of your electronics too. Residential pickups are not available.
Schedule a free pickup with a rough list of what you have and where it is.
Secure data destruction
We start by erasing hard drives and SSDs with software that follows the NIST 800-88 standard, using a 3-pass wiping procedure. Media that cannot be wiped is physically destroyed in our Ameri-Shred commercial shredder. We provide a certificate of destruction on request, for your records or your auditors.

Get paid for newer equipment
If your equipment is less than three years old, our reimbursement program may return cash for it. Call or email us with a list of what you have and we will let you know.
