Scheduled E-Waste Pickup for Southern & Eastern Idaho Businesses
Pickup trips east of the Treasure Valley
PC Recyclers of Idaho is based in Meridian, and when there is enough demand we make scheduled trips through southern and eastern Idaho to collect IT equipment from businesses. We pick up from Twin Falls, Burley, Pocatello, Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, Rexburg and the surrounding areas, and the pickup is free.
We do the loading and bring everything back to our Meridian facility, where drives are wiped or destroyed, reusable equipment is refurbished and the rest is recycled through certified downstream service providers.
How our eastern Idaho pickup trips work
1. Get on the list
Call us at (208) 658-1100 or use the contact form and tell us what you have and where you are.
2. We plan the trip
We do not run on a fixed calendar. When enough businesses in the region are ready, we schedule a trip.
3. We load it
The minimum is at least one gaylord or one pallet of equipment. Our crew does the lifting and hauls it away in our own trucks.
4. It is still free
There is no charge for business pickups on these trips, just as with our local pickups.

What we take, and what happens to your data
We take computers and laptops, servers, network equipment, monitors, phones and tablets, loose hard drives, printers under 50 lbs, point of sale equipment, cables and more. The items we accept page has the full list, including the few things we cannot take, such as televisions of any kind and CRT monitors.
Hard drives and SSDs are erased to the NIST 800-88 standard, and media that cannot be wiped is physically destroyed in our Ameri-Shred commercial shredder. We provide a certificate of destruction on request. Read more about how we destroy data.
If your equipment is less than three years old, our reimbursement program may return cash for it. Tell us what you have when you call and we will let you know.
Eastern Idaho pickup questions
How often do you come to Idaho Falls?
We do not run on a fixed calendar. We make these trips when there is enough demand, so the best way to get a date is to call us or send a message through the contact form and we will add you to the list for the next trip.
Is there a minimum for a pickup?
Yes. On these trips we need at least one gaylord or one pallet of equipment. That is different from our local pickups in the Treasure Valley, which require at least 10 items.
Is the pickup still free?
Yes. Business pickups on our southern and eastern Idaho trips are free, the same as our local pickups.
What happens to the data on my hard drives?
Drives are erased with software that follows the NIST 800-88 standard, using a 3-pass wiping procedure. Drives that cannot be wiped are physically destroyed in our Ameri-Shred commercial shredder. Ask us for a certificate of destruction and we will provide one.
